Kiss of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning (2001, Paperback, Reissue)

I absolutely LOVE this book. It is one that I read about every six months or so and each time I can not put it down. The love story is very powerful as is the lead male character Drustan MacKeltar. I love Gwen, the lead female character. It is truly a love story.

I absolutely loved this book!! I laughed, cried, and sighed, sometimes all in one chapter. Ms. Moning is great with words, making feel as if you are there with the characters. When the characters would get embrassed or angry I would feel that emotion and found myself getting embrassed or angry right along with them. This is the first book I read by Ms. Moning and I will be a dedicated fun from now on.

You are going to love this, and all the Highlander books by Moning. This is the story of Druston and Gwen. Druston has a twin brother named Dageus, whom you will read about in The Dark Highlander. Once you start this series you won't be able to stop until you have read them all. Very steamy!

ok, the part about her falling on him is interesting.

the part of her mother is depressing.

the fact that her mother's boyfriend is two faced is horrible considering her mother's condition.

the time travel is fun.

i really like gwen, which is good because this couple plays a considerable factor in the next 3 books.

ok, again, slow to start, especially when they walk .... and i'm anxious for them to obtain a car.

ok and this book makes me hungry............

also i like the relationship between gwen and drustan.

but once the characters figure out what they have to do, is when the book really becomes interesting.,

you must read the dark highlander after this one.

LOVE THE SERIES AND JUST HAD TO HAVE IT TO READ AND READ AGAIN. LOVE THE CHARACTERS AND THE WAY THE AUTHOR WRITES.
