Robert Wagner and Joanne Woodward made this original 1956 film noir movie which will give you goosebumps! Wagner is excellent as the psychopath who kills his pregnant girlfriend and then turns his attentions to her younger sister. Mary Astor plays the mother of both girls and is just superb. Highly recommend for its Hitchcock suspense.

Have always loved this film, saw it when it came out in 1955, I was 11 years old at the time. First time ever heard the name Dori (Joanne Woodwards role) had really liked that name so when I had my first daughter I named her Dorine just so I could call her Dori.And I liked the movie very much then and now.

Cold and calculating
) Seeing Robert Wagner step out of character for this one interesting. He displays a cold and calculating persona for this one. Seen the story line many times over but enjoyable seeing the actors play their characters in this one. A little haunting.
