Kirsten's Craft Book by Jodi Evert
I bought the book because I was teaching a class and wanted to get some ideas of what kids during that time period did to entertain themselves. I was teaching K-2nd graders. Most of the things were a little advanced for them to do. Some info would have been great to have....like when making the yarn dolls, not to precut any of the yarn for the kids. I did this, thinking it would save time. But, it gets all tangled up and knotted. It says it's really easy, and it was not easy when teaching 8 girls how to do it at once. It's a good book. I really enjoyed it. I bought the book with the idea of teaching 8 girls how to do some crafts from it. Most were too advanced for them, given the time allotted for me to teach it to them. That's why I went for the yarn doll.
But the book is neat, and I think if I was showing 1 child how to do something it'd be perfect!
