Very nice game for 10 - 12 year old kids (boys and girls). It has a lot of different level that become available while advancing on the game. My daughter (12) liked it a lot. She asked for it after she saw an advertisement. It is also more suitable for young kids because it doesn't have so much violence.

Kirby Super Star Ultra is a remake of Kirby Super Star for the SNES.
This game was one of my favorites growing up and remains in my list of best games ever. Kirby may seem pink and cute, but this is the game that lets you know that he can and will kick your ass.
Although some can smoke though this game in a few hours, playing it at leisure can provide hours of nonstop fun.
The addition of more games as you complete the beginning ones helps to ease you into the Kirby universe until you're ready to kick ass at the Arena, or a new feature to this game, the REAL Arena.
The multiplayer minigames don't do this game any justice, but I guess one could say they are better then no multiplayer minigames at all; however, the co-op story mode is some of the most fun you'll have with a friend!
With so many characters for the second player to choose from the fact that he doesn't get to be Kirby isn't a big deal, some even prefer to be the second player.
All in all this game is awesome. Buy it and fall in love with Kirby just like I have.

This is another fantastic game man! I swear it goes with my collection of kirby games So far. With All the same abilities I see the way they changed kirby and his abilities -oh Man is like so cool! I even get the chance to use the powers plus fight my old enemies again. The battle with meta knight again is was fantastic and king dedede and his dramatic change when I fought him. Oh no you better not mess with the new king dedede and his new adventure and I'm not talking about spring breeze. It is so nice to relive the adventure again after all these years. I mean super star ultra has lots of new music. The abilites kirby use match the ones in his cartoon. It was so awesome and fun to use them again. It is also another chapter of kirby and his adventure after his cartoon ended so thats more important- LIVE ON KIRBY!!!! Thanks man.

It was really good. I like the monsters and people you use. It was really hard to beat three stages called The Arena, Helper to Hero, and The TRUE Arena. The TRUE Arena was the hardest stage I have played, but I beat it. (Finally!!!) I think this game is good for ages 7-10. I decided to buy it, because the graphics looks good and I am a big Kirby fan!!!

I don't quite understand why they rearranged the buttons from the original...
But other than that this game was fantastic.
It's just like the original Kirby Super Star, only you just keep unlocking fun new Kirby adventures. Also, the game features DS download play, so you and a friend can take on over 10 different Kirby games with only one game card. I own a fair share of DS games, but I have to say that Kirby Super Star Ultra gives you the most gameplay for the money you pay.
But other than that this game was fantastic.

Kirby Nintendo DsMy girls love it!! It has many games. They love the graphics on the game and think Kirby is 'cute". It is easy enough for my 7 yr old, but the older kids like finding new worlds/games in it as well.

He told me day after day: "Thanks you Mom dso much, for buying me this game" after a while I had to fianlly say to him, "Honey, I'm so glad you love it but it's really not necessary for you to thank me everyday for two weeks". This is a clasic game! just like old game boy game! but better gamplay and grafics! The levels are great and you wount find one like thisSeptember 22, 2008 - More than a decade ago, back during the transition between the Super NES and the Nintendo 64, Nintendo and HAL Laboratories released Kirby Super Star for the 16-bit gaming console. That generation gap was a big one, as Kirby fell into that hole and got lost; oh, sure, Kirby fans ate it up and it's a good bet that it sold significantly better than any third-party game on the market at the time. But let's face it: the gaming world was on the move in 1996 with new consoles and updated graphic techniques (Donkey Kong Country, anyone?), so Kirby's end-of-generation Super NES adventure seemed to hit the scene with very little fanfare or impact, regardless of its gameplay quality.
Nintendo thought there was enough there to give the design a second chance: Kirby's Super Star Ultra for the Nintendo DS is pretty much a remake of the Super NES title, but don't call it a port. And because it's one of the lesser played Kirby games it'll probably feel fresh to you. If you were 16-bit gaming back in 1996 it'll probably make you wish you didn't miss the original design the first time around. Just make it all right again by noticing it in its second coming.
If you've ever played a Kirby game, you'll know that the whole idea of a "traditional platformer" is thrown right out the window. Though there are certainly elements of a traditional platformer in Kirby adventures, the fact that Kirby breaks from the usual run-n-jump elements with his float-n-fly abilities changes things up quite a bit, as does his ability to suck up enemies and steal their special attacks for his own benefit. Kirby Super Star Ultra brings a lot of cool ideas to the table, some of which have been abandoned in future Kirby games in favor of streamlining and simplifying his appeal. The ability to bring an enemy in as a "friend" and have him computer controlled opens up a lot of great co-op elements including special two-character attacks. This two player mode has been carried over really well on the Nintendo DS: if you've got a second system and second copy of the game you can have your own view of the action. My eight-year-old told me to get Kirby game for him because is a lot of fun and the character is cute. That is why I bought it. I am very happy that I contacted the seller first to make sure that is not a copy game. It will not work on Nintendo DSi. Fake game can only play on DS & DS Lite not DSi. When you see the game that are much cheaper from China & Hong Kong. They are all fake copies; don't buy it.

Kirby Super Star Ultra for Nintendo DSWell, two weeks ago I would have said this game was a big hit with my daughter. She chose it, spent her hard earned money on it, and played it almost every day. Now, she said it freezes up. Upon inspection, we see that the copper is wearing off of the connections. This is the only game that she is having trouble with. Hopefully, it is an uncommon manufacturer defect.
