Excellent game, but a bit short

Kirby Squeak Squad is quite fun, and it is probably Kirby's best outing yet. It lasted me around 10 hours of play time, which is after unlocking everything in the game and beating all the mini-games on maximum difficulty. Not an incredible amount of replay value, but very fun all the way through. Also allows multiplayer (using the minigames) with single cart, which can be enjoyable. The power system in this game is mostly the same as usual - Kirby sucks up an enemy and gets their power. However, you are now able to hold onto up to 5 "bubble" items, which are essentially each power within a special bubble. By combining bubbles and shaking the stylus, you can get a few unique powers (like Fire Sword), or simply get one of the more rare powers (like UFO). Powers can also be upgraded by finding special power scroll items, which is a cool new feature.
I was disappointed, however, with the number of powers that could be combined. One part of Kirby 64 that I loved, which has not really returned in any Kirby game, was the ability to combine two powers to form completely different ones. This allowed for some very cool powers (like a lightsaber), and more dynamicism in what KIrby could do. In Squeak Squad, although you can combine powers, there are only four total unique powers that can only be obtained from combining, and most of the time you simply get a random power result after combining. This feature could be improved in the future.
