G4 was the perfect choice for my Mom who is 76 yrs old. It is the second generation to have a transmission to help it move around with ease or it would be heavy unit to work without and any of the bugs would have been fixed with this unit that may have been present in the previous unit. The G4 vacuum works so well and so easy to move around for anyone but, the draw back is that it is heavy that if you have to haul it upstairs it would be a chore in itself for some to carry. These units are found to be so much cheaper on ebay that why not buy 2 and have that one upstairs.
