It Has & Always Will Be My Favorite Novel

One day, my local library was having a sale on books. They were either old or they had newer copies. I stumbled across a book I had never read by and author I had never heard of. The book was A Kingdom of Dreams and that author, Judith McNaught.
That night after purchasing it I made the fatal mistake of opening the front cover and beginning to read. I was instantly enraptured by the content, the plot so thick and rich, a story of a Scottish lairds nun daughter and an English Champion they called the Black Wolf or the Scourge of Scotland.
I laughed and I cried right along with Jennifer. I got angry at her and yet I adored her. Mocked her stupidity and yet loved her bravery. And Royce set the standard for every girlish hope or dream or fantasy I would ever have.
In the end I was disappointed though, for the fact that all stories must end so it was with this one. After 3 hours of non-stop reading I closed the back cover and sat on my bed holding myself. I had never been more touched by a novel or story as I was this one.
I would recommend it to anyone it is a wonderful book and a wonderful story. And I was over joyed to find out that there was a sequel of sorts. A book taking place generations later with the descendent of Royce and Jennifer. This book is called Whitney, My Love, another masterpiece of a creation.
In the end I have read many more books by Judith McNaught and as is her way she never fails to capture me. I will always be a captive of her artistry and that is why A Kingdom of Dreams Has and always will be my favorite novel.
