When dubbed in English, Kong vs. Godzilla's music was changed. This CD is the ORIGINAL AKIRA IFUKUBE MUSIC! 33 tracks of goodness, (some of which were used in later G-movies) an insert booklet explaining the whole thing, (worthy of reading twice!) and altogether a MUST-HAVE product!

) This soundtrack is some of Akira Ifukube's best work which almost all was unfortunately cut out of the US version. Among the finest of the songs on it is "The Plan to Transport King Kong" which is hauntingly beautiful and worked its way into the trailers for ATRAGON and DOGORA. It makes one really want to see the original Japanese version of the film, which unfortunately will not be available on Region 1 DVD anytime soon.
The CD packaging is hilarious because for some stupid legal reasons there is no mention or depiction of King Kong on the cover or in the liner notes - just Godzilla!
