This is a excellent movie. It stars one of the great all time actors in Richard Gere who gives a very strong performance. I highly recommend this movie to fans of Richard Gere as well as Biblical movies.

I love the story of David on DVD. It depicts the story of David from the Bible exactly how it happened. That is why I love it so much.

I had seen this movie a long time ago.... and I wanted to buy a copy and could never find it but im glad i did on ebay. King David is one of my favorite biblical characters. His life story is just so amazing... he went through so much during his life but never did he raise even eyebrow on God... He accepted God's will for him and was called a man after God's own heart. His life just gives me encouragement that when the going gets tough we need not worry because God's eye is on the sparrow and He is going to prove Himself mighty on our behalf. This movie visualizes David's life almost accurately. Great movie...
