This whole grain baking book is for the new generation. Back in the 70's a lot of us "suffered" eating grains because they were considered good for you, but lacked any of the flavor we had hoped for. Now with the 400 recipes in this cookbook you will delight in finding the grains lighter, airier, and tastier than you could ever imagine! If you've seen all those grains and flours with unusual names in the store and had no idea what to do with them, now you do! This book covers a wide variety of use for almost every grain there is for breakfast foods to breads, main meals and desserts. I own all the cookbooks put out by the King Arthur Company and none have ever disappointed me. Start with something simple like the whole wheat pancakes! Putting grains back in your diet never got tastier!
