This very large cookbook from King Arthur Flour has it all! If you can think of a cookie recipe that you want to bake, it will be in this book. I made the utterly delicious Double-Shot Cappuccino Bars and the Cinnamon-Caramel Swirl Shortbread. My son loves molasses cookies and the On-the-Fence Molasses Cookies were a toss up with the Soft Molasses Cookies, so we baked both. If you love crunchy sugar cookies instead of soft, then try The Essential Crunchy Sugar Cookie and you won't be disappointed! There are just too many marvelous recipes in this book. You can find everything from drop cookies,roll-out,shaped, batter,no-bake, bars and squares. I'm trying as many as my waist line will allow! 5 stars for this cookie book!

Excellent cookie recipe book and my new favorite! Very helpful explanations and suggestions on how to change and/or rectify recipes to achieve the desired outcome (chewy, soft, crispy, etc). Delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe with resulting cookies exactly as described! I borrowed this book several times from the local library and copied a few favorite recipes, but found that I kept wanting to try more. So I purchased my own copy to have whenever the baking mood strikes. Highly recommend to all cookie fanatics!!!
