I can't wait to get this book! I LOVE all of J.D.Robb's books! The characters feel like old friends. The electricity between Eve and Roarke is great and makes Eve vulnerable. I can't say enough about the "Death" series!!

When the newly promoted captain of the NYPSD AND HIS WIFE return a day early from their vacation, they are looking forward to spending time with their bright and vivacious 16 year old daughter who stayed behind.
not even their worst nightmares could prepare them for the crime scene that awaits them isntead. deena has been brutally murdered in her bedroom and her body shows signs of trauma that horrify even the toughest of cops including our own lt. eve dallas who is specifically requested by the captain to investigate.
while i really enjoy the eve dallas books i found this one a little rushed.
i found myself wanting more roarke time, even though he did get alot of time, i also wanted more peabody/mcnabb/feeney and mavis and trina interaction.
More louise and charles time too.
i'm sorry but i really enjoy those interactions and they weren't there, this book was too short for me.. the mystery was good, but i want more, i'm greedy....... and definately more wedding info at the end.
