What's not to love about a mystery wherein the murder victim buys (Royal Doulton figurines) and sells (Hummels) on eBay?
Liss MacCrimmon is a professional Scottish dancer until a knee injury cuts her career short. Returning to her hometown of Moosetookalook, Maine, she settles in to help her aunt run her Scottish Emporium.
But her bliss soon turns to bad, then worse, when she finds the body of her aunt's nosy neighbor in the stockroom -- and the state police hone in on Liss as the main suspect. She'll have to do some fancy footwork to prove she's innocent while avoiding becoming the killer's next victim.
And what to do about handsome neighbor Dan Ruskin, who definitely shows signs of wanting to become more than just an old schoolmate?
Whether you read "Kilt Dead" for the strong local color or just to find out whodunit, you are in for a cozy ride with a few fun surprises along the way.
