About three years ago, I became interested in books written by L.M. Montgomery. I loved her series "Anne of Green Gables," and short stories. When "Kilmeny of the Orchard" came to my hands, I couldn't stop reading it until I read the whole story. (Same thing happened this time!) I just love this book! It depicts the pure and kind heart, heart of a gold in Kilmeny. It tells of pure and true love, and of terrible hatred.
I'm a Christian, and a strong believer of sexual morality before marriage; therefore, I've had a hard time finding books that show love without any "strings" attached. Somehow people find the books that contain all the sins to be the most interesting... I guess different opinions and views. But I know, life is more than just reading books... Sometimes we do not recognize they have a powerful way of inspiring us, either for good or evil thoughts and actions.
Read this book, and you will enjoy it. And, probably, you will understand my words only then.
