I love Megadeth, but this album is crap. I bought it to hear "These Boots Are Made For Walking" but much of the song is bleeped out for some reason.

I have always loved this album and who doesn't love hard hitting riffs coupled with shredding lead guitars? The beginning of Dave Mustaine's new band he created called Megadeth. Got to listen to the title tracks opening riff and tell me that isn't some tight and crisp riff action. The first of much to come from Megadeth for many years.

Get the CD from another seller. He sold me a copy instead of a used album. I don't buy copies of Artists I love since this affect the Artist compensation.

This album is the definition of what Thrash Metal is. The breakneck riffs and snarling vocals prove Mustaine is the godfather of Thrash.

The recordings of the songs aren't the greatest. The songs are a little immature compared to later work. But it's their first album, so you gotta love it!

You may also notice the similarities between the songs Mechanix and Metallica's The Four Horsemen. Dave must have had some rights to it, or ripped it off, during his time in Metallica.

this is the classic first album by megadeth , the song in this pure raw thrash metal at it´s best , made after mr. mustaine leave metallica , the songs are all amazing and all are just history in metal scene!

I recieved this CD very quick. It arrived in the promised conditions. I will definitly buy from this seller again. Highly recomended.

I was the owner of this title on vinyl and finally had to have it on CD/mp3 for my ipod. This album is speed metal thrash all the way. Mustaine's guitar chops are very good, probably under-rated by the main stream media. The production value lacks a little but it's made up for by the song writing, emotion and energy. I would see it's must have for anyone's metal and/or thrash library.

These were the days of great heavy metal music. I hope one day we could all listen to great metal albums likes this. This is such an amazing album. you can't go wrong with this one. This is a very strong album but i do find it a little raw

This is Megadeth's best work.Absolutely the BEST Meegadeth album in existence.When this album came out the original I mean , I was one of the first to get it upon its release date.We spend a hour waiting to get it.As soon as I put it on the tunes took me away.

this review is for the original issue 8track album with boots. this is an essential album for headbangers!! its raw high energy metal with dynamics and musicianship. some songs are straight forward metal and some use different song structures with quite passages that lead to kick ass metal riffage!! daves singing on the album goes from a croon to his well known snarl. i swear it sounds like the band is barely holding on on some of these songs!! and then there's boots. later issues omit this song-dont waste your money on them!! pay a little more and get the original issue album with boots-its worth it!! the band had to drop the song because they couldnt afford to pay for the rights. i guarantee you will not be dissapointed with this classic!!

Overall Megadeth is one of My fave bands and the album is great ... EXCEPT for the song These Boots . What the hell is with the bleeped out words. F!#* the P.M.R.C Tipper GORE, Parents ,and whomever else messes with FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION,FREEDOM IN general, You know who you are.F!#* YOU ALL

This CD was a long time coming. The first album from Megadeth is one of their best, but the production on the original just didn't do the music justice. Now it is AAAALLLLLLL better. They did a masterful job of remastering each track so they take on a whole new personality. The only down side to this is the cover of "These Boots". There were a bunch of legal issues regarding Mega-Dave's version of this one so the result is a lot of censored lyrics. It's a bit hard to listen to, but a tad funny as well. The rest of the album more than makes up for that one song - well worth putting in your collection!!

this is a must have for any megadeth fan. its raw and full of energy. fierce and fast. a must own. Dave mustaines lyrics are intense. and this version has great demos and unreleased material.
