Revolting - But, a must for the Beattles Completists.

A must for the Beattles Completists. Not much for anyone else. Man, you have to be a die-hard to sit through this for 2 hours. Although the movie appears to be poorly directed, newcomer Jonas Ball give a good performance in the role of Mark David Chapman, John Lennon's killer. Personaly, I find it revolting to make a movie like this - just for money . . .

) Drove home the knowledge that this was a senseless tragedy; makes me angry; difficult to watch; I know I would not want to be an actor in this film; disturbing; I think even if someone was NOT a John Lennon fan they would be sickened by this film unless they were planning to murder/assassinate someone; gave it an poor rating but would not rate it at all; someone made money on this and I have a problem with that; do not recommend anyone buying this dvd and it should be removed from the shelves of any and all stores and banned from ebay; 20 years to life = he should stay in prison w/out any hope of parole; let him out into the general population; even prisoners I suspect disrepect and hate him

) This movie wasn't as good as I expected it to be. The part I did like is the way it shows you how John Lennon was stalked and eventually killed. Mark David Chapman was totally a nut! It tries to show you what he was thinking and what he was doing up until the assassination. It is truly sad how these stalkers become obsessed with famous people, and how that obsession can turn so violent and rob the world of such a wonderful talent. What have we missed out on? Noone will ever know, because of the ignorant acts of one totally insane NUT! Anyway, if you enjoy a true story, check it out. It is interesting, just not quite what I was expecting.
