Kidz Bop 10 by Kidz Bop Kids (CD, Aug-2006, Razor & Tie Music)

I like most of the songs from the original artists--so I don't mind listening to this Kids Bop cd. But the best part of this cd is that my kids love the music. They like to hear other kids sing and it encourages them to sing along--building their confidence. They learn to sing. When we are in the car--I'd rather have them sing than watch the tv or play a gameboy and this does the job well!

Oppps They did it again....... This time it is a Keeper.... My kids Love this CD. Full of todays popular songs that they can dance and sing to. My kids are NUTS over this CD. So much that they are wearing it out and I have to buy another. I like to buy it on Ebay becuase it is cheaper them purchaseing from the Kids Bop home page. My 5-year-old grandson has been singing "Bad Day" ever since he received Kidz Bop 10 as a birthday present. The children love the CD and learn all the songs. Since each song is cleaned up when they record the Kidz Bop Kidz, I don't have to worry about inappropriate lyrics. The songs are exactly like the original hits, but cleaned up and with the childrens' voices added. Great way to introduce pop music to young children. This is a CD that is fun for the whole family. This CD gets the whole family off the coach, dancing around, and spending family time together. Mothers, fathers, and children are able to sing along with the CD. This CD is also a good CD to take along on those long rides. At least, this will help with stopping the children from asking every five minutes “Are we there yet?”

I bought this for my daughter. I like some of the old songs in a kids version. I am planning on buying more in the future for christmas presents!

This CD was a gift for an 8 year old who loves these kids cd's. The music is appropriate for young children and she was very happy.

I bought this c.d. for my 3 year old, he loved it. It had a lot of songs that I ALSO ENJOYED. Some songs get a little annoying after awhile since the children in the c.d. sing along with the songs, but overall we enjoyed this c.d.

It is current day music sung by kids. Some words are changed from the original but for good reason. My son loves it!

My two daughters were so excited to receive Kidz Bop 10. It is a great upbeat CD that I don't mind them listening to. With some of the music out there now a days a lot of it is inapproiate for young ones but no need to worry about that with this CD.

How do you take 18 pretty good-to-great pop songs and make them sound boring and kind of dumb? It's easy -- just give them to the folks who bring you the Kidz Bop series of "songs by kids, for kids." Previous editions have managed to retain some spirit, a little charm, and a bit of the essence of the original tunes. On KIDZ BOP 10, it seems as though everyone just stopped trying. From beginning to end, this one is downright awful.

Where to begin? The instrumentation is clichéd and synthesized; the mastering so carelessly handled that it sounds like someone threw a wet towel over the mixes. Even the anonymous singing kids (who are, by the way, never given credit on these CDs), sound like they would rather be doing something else.

There's no objectionable lyrical content, of course, but there's also no heart, passion, or soul. And here's the thing: If we all keep buying them, the Kidz Bop people are going to keep making them. So leave this one on the shelf and make mixes with the original versions of songs you think your kids will like, instead. Or better yet, find the karaoke tracks and make your own family recordings. They'll probably sound better, and are guaranteed to be a lot more fun.


BUT - I do think you should get this for young kids(maybe 4 to 8 year olds).

You can never go wrong when it comes to the music of any of the Kidz Bop line. Parents can feel a sense of ease when they know the music your children are listening to will not contain profanity, sexuality or hate. This CD has the ability to please the ears of young and old alike.

This cd is sure to please your younger child such as my 5 and 8 year old. But its not easy listening for us parents, but remember its for kids made by kids! So if your looking for the real deal than this is not your ideal cd but if your kids like the samples as mine did than what can I say the'll probably love this disc!

I bought this product because my 7 year old daughter absolutely loves hearing kids singing modern pop songs which is what the cd is about. She collects all of the Kidz Bop cds and I just had to preorder the Kidz Bop 10 on preorder just to make sure she had it as soon as it came out!!

Being a grandmother of seven, I am always on the lookout for items that my grandchildren and I can interact with. I enjoy the young fresh sounds of the childrens voices on the CD and the excitement of my little grandchildren's voices as they sing and dance along to the music. I truly believe in this product and think it would make not only an excellent addition to any CD collection but with the holiday's right around the corner it would make a wonderful present for any child or grandchild.

Hello from a mom of an AUTISTIC child who is falling in love w/ music .. She is now 12 and this is an awesome way to get the kids rolling in the happy music songs that are safe, effective , cause and effect of Happiness and Joy for any age kids.. especially those special needs ones out there..I love the idea of a WHOLESOME type of music for kids MP3 and Ipods as well as the old fashioned CD players that are portable and in the computer to the classroom.. i think more time spent in music therapy outways the regular psyco therapy anyday! This is an awesome responsibility to be a parent and bringing on the music from prenatal stages are making a smarter and happie baby and into teens and adults.. I feel this is also a way to a wholesome outlook on life and not thinking of negative things going on in some Teen music and MTV type stuff.. Do they even have Music on MTV anymore/?? LOL ; Oh well check this out.. and keep coming back.. ALSO there is much to be said for the family hour of singing and doing karoke on the computer.. try it you'll like it!

Granddaughter has all up to 10 Kids Bop CD's..this was is great!..she is only 3 but sings along to all the songs she knows.

Great music, that's current. My kids are 7 and 5, and they both LOVE it. Also, being a parent it's good to know what they are listening to.

These songs are done fairly well and my 8 1/2 year old daughter and 6 1/2 year old son really enjoy listening to these songs. It is a very cool way for kids to listen to updated music. Nothing over the top but definitely worth buying if your kids enjoy music!

this is a good cd with the top hits of r&b and rock.I decided to get thi s for my little six year old brother for his brithday, he loves and loves to sing the sing along with the cd.
