Kickle Cubicle / Puzzle Classic !

This is one of the best puzzle games on the NES !

You control Kickle and you need to solve a series of puzzles that take place on frozen islands. The goal is to collect the red Dream Bags in the level. To defeat the several enemies on your path, you have a freezing breath ability. You can turn your enemies into ice and use them to defeat other enemies or create a pillar of ice in front of you to act as a block. The controls of the game are excellent and the graphics are nice and clean. There are 4 worlds (garden, fruit, cake, and toy land) which contains 17 levels. After you defeat them all, you get access to the special game which contains 30 levels !

I really enjoyed playing this game but still have to beat that damn last level ! If you're into Puzzle games and NES, BUY IT !

  Kickle Cubicle

I had this game for the NES when I was a little kid, and I loved it. We got rid of our NES about 13-14 years ago to upgrade to the SNES, so I have really missed all the old Nintendo games I used to have. I finally bought an NES again recently, and I decided to try and find all the games I used to play back in the day. The first one that popped into my mind was Kickle Cubicle. Kickle Cubicle is fun if you like puzzle games, it's also challenging. Very enjoyable and addicting, definitely recommend this game!

A classic puzzle game with crazy creatures
Review created: 08/08/07

in my opition nes games always had the hardest games to bet. this one is a challenging one that involves you making ice paths and pillars of ice to block others. it has many levels with in the stages. it starts off easy to get you understanding the controls, but then picks up difficulty to where you really have to think about what you are doing. for an example one level has you push an ice block like 6 or 7 different times to bounce it around to get it where you need it. so if you like games that make you think and like puzzle games this is the one for you, but if you like the casual game with out a lot of thinking this is not for you.

  Super difficult puzzle game!

I love the game because it's difficult. It has four worlds with different levels in them, random talking objects, princesses, a Wizard King, a talking chicken and turtle, and when you finish all four worlds and beat the game, there's a bonus world you can play in with lots of levels! I bought it because as a child I owned the game and played it with my mother and sisters. Being able to freeze the little hopping things is fun too, heheh...there's nothing like freezing a little blue hopper and kicking it against a spring to go back and forth. Whee! The hammers are great too, you constantly have to kick them in just the right spots to get the blocks moving. I would highly recommend this NES game for anyone who likes a good challenge and a silly game.
