This amp is no joke.

I have been around the audio scene for a decade, and consider myself an audiophile. I've used brand like Sony XM-7547 old school look it up ran my 2 dual 1 ohm subs, a set of components, and a set of coaxs and it would freaking scream., CDTAduio (which by far are the best sounding mids/highs I've ever heard), Pioneer, Kicker, Fosgate (will not ever buy a fosgate anything, but i wont slander them either), Soundstream, PPI, Orion HCCA... all old school equipment that was made like electronics are supposed to be. So being wary of new school stuff I went with a Soundstream VGA800.2, XTA720.4, Sony m8800 deck, 2 Soundstream Tarantula t4-12's, 2 xta 6x9's, and 2 xta 6.5's (hey i am a broke college student). That system was find but def. not audiophile quality... those freaking subs are crazy.... still poundin after 4 years. It didn't give me much trouble so i was like nothing wrong with new school. First my display on my Sony deck went out and it was less than a year old. Then my VGA800 just quit. One of my xta coaxs blew.... and everything else worked. i upgraded to a Soundstream DVD/CD/Mp3/etc cuz i got a good deal. i went to best buy and picked up a Kenwood 9103d mono sub amp... cant take no bass. :P It was okay but i wanted more. Got Diamond Audio 6x9's and Soundstream components. Bought a Soundstream digi-q and that thing broke in less than 2 months. That was the last straw... no more Soundstream. I piked up this Kicker and had it running at 4ohms... I wanted to punish it... Its running at 1 ohm and it doesn't even get hot. i got a Kicker 430x4 and it gets warm but totally out preforms my Soundstream... even though its "less" watts. All-in-all with my sound cranked I can pull 150-180 amps with no problems besides police. Of course i have an extra battery & 160amp alt. All power, speaker, etc is Stinger, which probably ended up costing more than the system. I'm totally impressed by this amp. I'd only test it with a zx series kicker, or old school Orion 2100 HCCA or 2250SX
