It's Tri-County Fair time in Lake Eden,Minnesota and it promises to be a busy week for Hannah Swensen. The Cookie Jar is providing cookies for the chamber of commerce booth, both sisters and one niece are in various contests, and Hannah has agreed to be the third judge for the baking contest. On top of that her precious cat Moishe is on a hunger strike! With so much on her plate and her mind in a tizzy, Hannah accidentally finds herself on the midway after it closes and discovers the body of fellow bake contest judge and student teacher, Willa Sunquist. Before long Hannah is hot on the trail of a killer between bites of delicious bake goods.
This book was not the very best of Ms.Fluke's work, but still entertaining and you just have to love Hannah and company. The recipes she gives are always a special treat and the ones I have made have not gone uneaten long!
