Pictures are very well done and some in color. Lots of history and kewpie original ads. Lots of original art work. Shows items of many dolls as well as many other items. A good background book.

It has information, illustrations, and pictures about the Kewpie doll. It also has information about the creator of the doll, and of the sculptor. It is the history of a precious, cute, and much loved doll that has entered into or remained in the hearts of young and young at heart people. Even without reading the book, just looking at the pages of pictures and illustrations puts a smile on our faces. You don't have to be a Kewpie collector to enjoy this book.
