Kenwood KAC-9104D Car Amp

I like the bass boost and the adjustable crossover. At first I had problems with the amp getting hot. My problem was the input adjustment. This amp differs from other amps I had in the past. The input sensitivity don't make much difference in the output of the amp. I turned my input all the way down and my amp still drives the two subs to the max. This is by far the most powerful amp for the size that I have ever had. I did not like it at first, but once I got the input sensitivity adjusted, it was great.

THIS AMP IS UNDERRATED FOR ITS POWER. I RAN THIS AMP AT 1 OHM PUSHING 2 CVX12 KICKERS AND THEY KICKED REALLY HARD.AWESOME POWER

Small, light, inexpensive, high quality, user-friendly, easy to install, doesn't use a lot of power but puts out a lot of power.

I heard this product in my friends car and i was absolutely blown away at the power of it. paired with a diamond audio D6 12" subwoofer i felt my chest and my vioce vibrating. UNBELIEVABLE. So that is why i am purchasing it now. NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT PRICE FOR IT! My friend paid twice the price at a retail store.

I was very pleased by the performance in the car. Even though I could only squeeze 644 watts out of the unit, at $300, that's only 47 cents per watt, quite a value. It's big enough to be fun, with a price you can afford. I'd recommend this amp for anyone whos doing a system for the first time.

i like it becuase i need it from my two kicker crvs, so 1800 watts is more then enough power to support the subwoofers. Also it is very affordable which i enjoy.

I picked this amp based on my subs. It is a great amp with a good brand name. The thing to know about amps is to match them to the subs. That was the main reason i purchased it. It was priced well too.

my amp was delivered in a timely fashion. It works great and I was offered an extented warranty at a reasonable price.

Kenwood as always been top of the line when it come to their products. The quality of the output this amp had is just incredible. when it came to distortion on low frequency it was just clean crisp bass. the styling was top of the line and the size was perfect because it could be mounted anywhere in the car no doubt that this is an excellent amp.

when i first hooked it up I thought wow it has amazing bass for the $156 I paid for it. But was soon to find out that it is a amp hungry unit and soon started underpowering itself. And now after 3 weeks of use it has stopped working, all the lights work and all fuses in order. Maybe I just got a lemon but I wont buy anything ever again with KENWOOD writen on it. BEWARE!!!!!!

i bought the amp about a month ago and was thoroughly impressed as soon as i hooked it up. Plenty of power does not get hot great current fuse cut off.

Don't think the plate covering the settings was necessary but its a small con for an otherwise great product will be upgrading to the 2400 watt model soon

Prior to this amp I owned Kenwood's kac-8104d. That in itself was a great amp. Never had any problem with it. This time I decided to upgrade to this one. I have it hooked up to my two Memphis Power Reference 12" subs in a sealed box in my 94' Firebird. I have it wired at 4ohms, so it's pushing them with 500 watts rms. Definitely louder then the 8104d! My whole car shakes with it up, tho it even shook with the 8104d, just now a bit more. True bass you can feel! If my windows are rolled down, you can hear me pretty far away! So far never had any overheating problems or anything like that. It's a great buy.

I am powering 2 JBL P1222's and I have been underpowering them until I got this amp. This amp is amazing! It sounds clear, crisp, and very very loud!! I am very satisfied!

You wont be dissapointed, just make sure u have good solid thick power wires and you will be banging

If you want to run a sub or to at 4ohm go for it.... my sub (RF T1 15) is at 1ohm and it keeps droppin down to 4 ohm after a while in the song than if you play a couple songs or have the ipod setting to bass bost.... you pop fuses liek a mo fo basically
