I replaced a sony explode 600 watt amp with this and have not had one problem with it. The Kenwood has never gone into protection unlike my sony! I would highly highly recommend this for anyone pushing a couple of 600 watt subs.

Kenwood KAC-7202 - great amplifierthis is a 2 chanel amp rated at 920w max power, and 460 rms. i actually bought it based on the quality of the brand, kenwood, which i also own an mp3 head unit, and also based on how stylish the amp actually is. when i had the amp installed i was actually surprised by all the power this amp dishes out, clean deep bass, and best was the price. the person who installed it was more stunned than i was and offered to buy it from me. so,, i highly recommend this amp for anyone looking to get good stong bass at a practicly cheap price.

Bought this amp with 1 Rockford 12" P2 sub and ported box back in January of '05. Finally shorted out on me due to battery problems(i screwed up when jumping the car)but BBY replaced under their 4yr plan. But, until then it was extremely durable, i went through two of those subs, but the amp was fine. very smooth bass, not overpowering, but there if you need it. NOT for bass junkies, but for someone who wants more than 6x9s only who want quality sound.

Decent amp. Pretty noisy with the gain past half. Would be good with a high volt deck. 900 watts may be slightly overstated. Works good with 10's.
