Kenmore Progressive 35922 Upright Cleaner

I bought this on recommendation from consumer reports. I find the vacuum easy to use, quiet, and would recommend this product to others. The only short coming is the length of hose for the tool attachments. For certin johs it's fine, but you could not take this up a staircase and you cannot get very far from the unit. However, I bought this to clean carpet and it does that fine.

Shipper packaged the new open item vacuum about as well as could be expected, though it arrived dusty with some small loose parts due to the OEM packaging being somewhat damaged from prior use. The vacuum itself assembled w/o issues and worked perfectly. A few minor scratches and scuffs (not noticeable) were evident, but for 1/2 the price of a new unit it was worth it for a vacuum cleaner. Shipping proection is the key to getting heavier items to the buyer successfully. Always package heavy items securely. Bubble wrap tightly rolled around heavy objects is always a good idea. I've shipped space flight hardware numerous times and this is always key to getting parts from point a to point b w/o incurring damage from drops and rollovers. Ask questions from the seller before you purchase items from them regarding how they plan to package heavy items before they ship them to you after purchase. This is your right as an eBay buyer for me expensive items since most shippers will not cover damage due to improper packaging. Lots of good buys on eBay these days with the economic turndown and this seller/buyer relationship was overall a very good experience. Thanks ROSEBURY!

Love having all the tools at hand on the machine. The suction is wonderful, have to be careful not to suck up the cat. It cleans upholstery, including pet hair, like no machine I have ever had before. (Ricaar, Hoover, Dirt Devil) I bought it based on Consumer Reports and have agreed with their assessment.

The applicance has excellent vacuum, the attachments work very well, it was delivered in excellent condition. Limited use experience has been very good.
