This will be a little biased b/c our old cooktop is from the prehistoric era! Anyway, this was my 1st gas stove, ever. I am completely sold on it, though. I love the deep burner area which catches any drips. its so easy to clean! and the simmer burner & power boil burner are wonderful new conveniences. I highly recommend this product. its beautiful, functional and fun to use!
