Kenmore 26082 Canister Cleaner

it is for hard floors ONLY and its compact and the price was right but its is very loud and the filter plugs up fast so you have to stop and clean it or it won't pick up suction is not that great cheap price cheap machine i got what i paid for Very disapointed with Kenmore

I have rooms and rooms of hardwood and tile floors. I also have active kids, long-haired cats and uninvited spider guests who spin webs in the recesses under my cabinetry and furniture. Don't expect this vacuum to handle carpet or area rugs -- you'll need an upright vacuum with a beater brush for those. But for dust bunnies, spider webs, and all other assortment of sand, dust, and fur on my smooth-surface floors, this vacuum does an excellent job. To keep suction at its best, frequent cleaning of the filter is a must, but it's sturdy and stands up well to periodic beatings on the edge of my garbage can and to washing. This is the second generation of the Kenmore Bagless Canister Vacuum I've owned, and I wouldn't be without it. In my experience, it's superior to the Eureka Mighty Mite.

I bought this to use and carry upstaris in my bonus room, it was easy to carry up there. I used it on the stairs with the attachments and it worked well in teh cracks. I used it all the way down the hall and cleaned around the trim. I then cleaned it and it was real easy to clean. Kenmore has been around for years and i know why. Thanks Kenmore your the best.

I love this little vacuum for cleaning up chaffe and excess seed under my birdcages. It is powerful and quick and stores in a little spot. I dump the dust cup each time and brush out the filter. Even though the power is eonough to clean carpets the dust cup would need to be emptied. For quick clean ups, its perfect.

Has all the tools you need to get the job done. I recently bought this ad thought my dirt devil was doing a good job. WRONG. emptied the cup twice. This vac is awesome. easy to use and change dirt cup. auto cord rewind. yep this is a keeper.

Well, I guess, for the money spent, this item is not bad. Probably better suited as a shop vac. For the home, the attachments are few and made of light gauge plastic, the hose is not very flexible and makes it rather difficult to use.

About two weeks ago my orginal vacuum broke down (it was only a year old but it is having electrical problems)

Since I dont have a car I decided to order a new vacuum online. I saw the Kenmore Canister Cleaner for 10 dollars (20 shipping) For 30 bucks, thats a great deal! I was alittle hesitant because it wasn't built like a traditional vacum, with a little bubble light canister and a long tube with many attachments. but I ordered it anyways. It came about 6 days later in a small box. I was very excited. My floor was a disaster, I was starting to get bugs because I have a 2 year old and 3 active cats and my floor was in some very serious attention.

I opend the medium box to find a small and cute little yellow vacuum. It is VERY lightweight to lift, and very easy to move around making it extremly convienent. It makes the PERFECT upholdtry and tile/grout/lenoiluum cleaner, but it isn't very strong as a normal everyday large area carpet cleaner. (wich i really needed it for) It WILL do the job for that, but takes alittle extra time as the tubes (even the carpet cleaner attachment) have very small suctionuing holes, and the suction is powerful but not as strong as your normal upright vacuum.

however, this makes for an amazing addition for your everyday vaccum and it's a wonderfully priced applience so it is definetly affordable as an addition. This is beyond wonderful for those hard to reach places, it makes it a breeze to get in my couch coushins, and behind the fridge and stove.

It is very easy on the ears, as it's not very loud. It is a wonderful little vaccum, But if you have a large area you need to clean at once this might fall slightly short.

This is also great for spot cleanings. My son dumped some clean kitty litter ont he floor (it was a little mound of litter) and this vacuum cleaned it right up with no problem.

Cleaning out the canister is VERY easy to, no bags or hassle.


All in all, I recomend this as a addition to a normal vacuum, as this can do alot of things your normal upright vacuum can't do. I love it, and i'm very happy with my purchase.
