Fast shipping, item in great condition. Love N64, and craved Ken Griffey Jr. Slugfest, considering it used to be my favorite game. This buyer had it for very cheap, and I received it quickly after ordering it. It was in great condition and play it avidly like I used to

Awesome game, home run derby mode is the best! Graphics are not the best, but what can you expect from the N64. It is still a great system and a great game.

Great game that I grew up on. Never gets old.

This is one of the few games that keeps me bringing out the N64. The controls are easy to use and the difficult levels make it interesting even if you are a stud at the game.

My game was sent to me and didnt work! I sent it back to him because he said he would send me a new one. Still waiting for one back and he said he would give me a refund on the shipping that I had to pay for twice. Still waiting to see what happens.

So real I can smell peanuts

Pros:
realistic, true-to-life players, good sound effects, exciting

Cons:
my own player was injured and never recovered

Ha ha, there's nothing like the feeling of hitting a ball right out of the park! You know when you hear the CRACK of the bat hitting that juicy fastball square on, that this one is gonna sail into the upper decks of Seattle's Safeco Field! This is part of the fun of Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest. I'm a baseball fan - a Seattle Mariner fan - and this is by far the best, most realistic baseball video game I've played. I bought this game for my girl friend's seven year old son, who happens to be a Mariner fan also, and we've played countless games-- against each other, and against the computer....

  Slugfest-Funfest!
Review created: 01/16/00
by: fatcrab -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Fun to play, good control, good graphics

Cons:
sometimes too much animation

The overall presentation, control scheme, and basic feel of the game all center around ease of play. With three levels of difficulty and four different modes to play, there's more than enough to keep you busy for awhile. In addition, this year's game features a create-a-player mode that lets you build 20 different players. The control scheme is set up, for the most part, just like last year's game. The default batting system features the target cursor, which you must place over a small box that indicates where the pitch is headed. In addition, there is classic, a second batting option, which..

  It's a home run.

Pros:
Better graphics, create-a-player feature, Griffey endorsement.

Cons:
Wish there was a tougher level than All-Star.

Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest is not only a fantastic baseball game, it's the only one I've bought, or would have considered buying. I'd never go with the Konami sports baseball game, and Acclaim's new All-Star Baseball 2001 is too simulationish. Griffey's manages to strike the perfect balance between sim and arcade, and as a result you have one hell of a game. The graphics are far better than last year's title. They are much cleaner and the players, stadiums, even the umpires look great. The create-a-player mode is a huge plus over last year's Griffey. You're able to create up to ten starting...

Pros:
Fantastic simulation

Cons:
Very few

"It's grand salami time," as the Voice of the Mariners, Dave Niehaus, would say in this great baseball game. I just finished a 162-game season, Divisional Playoffs, League Championship Series, and the World Series, and all I can say is: WOW! I have been playing baseball games for years, including the first N64 version for Ken Griffey, Jr., and all I can say is, this is the most detailed, simulated game ever. It starts with the fly-by views of every stadium, including the new ones (like Seattle's Safeco Field). Very realistic, and they come complete with planes, sirens and trains in the...

You'll never be able to put the controller down...
Review created: 03/10/00
by: The_Dude -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Sweet graphics----Good replay value----Excellent arcade game

Cons:
Sound could be better----Wish there was more than just games and home run derby

I though the first Ken Griffey title was great, the second one simply proves that sequels to video games can actually be better the first one... Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest is a sport's gamer fantasy of a baseball. I seriously believe it's the best baseball game I have ever played. The Graphics are sweeeeeet. Smooth textures, clear visuals make it all worthwhile to play the game. You'll be spending too much time in the view-the-stadium feature, gawking at the high-resolution job the developers did. They knew what to do with the second than what they did with the first. The realistic look and...
