If Jazz is your thing, knowing the history of it's roots through today is a must. This is a fine history of America's own Music, with film footage of many of the great Jazz artists and bands from all eras of Jazz. As with all Ken Burns Films, this one has been very well compiles and put together.

What can you say, this is documenting at it's greatest & Ken Burns does it best. This is an excellent documentary in not only story-telling, but in detail & true accolades. Living in America it is easy to come to the blind reality that only white folks are & have done it. But Ken keeps it real & upfront. Thanks man.

  History of Jazz, Ken Burns

Ken Burns does it again; another great exploration and storying telling on one part of American History. We marvel at the amount of research that must have gone into this project. The pictures and old video footage that he weaves into the story are wonderful along with great narration.
