Kelly's Heroes/The Dirty Dozen (DVD, 2007)

The battle sequences were great. However, there were some technical inaccuracies (mortar have limited range for frontline bombardment).

Great ideal putting these movies together. I will use as a christmas present. I truly love making others smile and after vewing thse 2 movies i am sur they will smile as well.

Was surprised that it was 2 movies on one disk (back to back), but they played excellent, and were a bargain. Highly recommend!

Reasonable price. A high quality product that was accurately described and promptly delivered. Playing the movie on a plasma 50" TV was an excellent experience that was much like an actual trip to the movies!

Kelly's heroes is one a rare group oif WWII films. This film combines the fun elements of a classic "Caper" movie and has all the WWII military action scenes that any man could want. The movie has so many elements working in its favour that its hard to beat. The cast is excellent. the dialog and acting are WAAAAYY above par, and the equipement they use is spot on. This movie was filed in Europe, and nothing looks as much like Europe as Europe does. Filmed in the former Yugoslavia, this movie uses a REAL town (Abandoned for political reasons in 1954) and uses real tanks, trucks, 88mm Flak guns, halftracks etc. and with a bevy of extras courtesy of the Yugoslav Army, the movie is filled with realism. The German Tigers are heavily modified T-34's and are DEAD RINGERS for real Tiger Tanks. I watched this movie from the time I was a kid, and those replica Tigers fooled me for 30 years! (Real Tigers did exist in 1970 when the movie was made, but they were in Franco's army {Spain} and he wouldn't allow them to be used) So when you see a building blown up, or a car or fence crushed under the weight of a Sherman tank, what you are seeing is the real thing. This "Expendable" town gave it's all for the picture. Factor in top notch directing and camera angles, you have the best and most fun WWII movie ever filmed. Telly Savalas deserved an oscar for his performance. Think Saving Private Ryan meets M*A*S*H*. Awesome movie, not to ne missed. Buy it...You'll love it...Watch it on a big screen, and hang onto your seat.

what can i say but this movie is one of the all time greats in my opinion. you just can't find many movies now days with this much action and comedy without it being filled with bad language. this is a great movie.

These movies are 2 classics.They were exactly what you would buy in a store without the high price.The reason I bought them was the price,$9.95 I think for 2 movies that I love, and second was because in their ad they posted that they were not bootlegged or copies,the real deal.I use my X-Box as a dvd player and it won't play copied or bootlegged movies and both of these played great and everything (Video and Audio) was perfect.

Kellys Heroes- funny and action packed, GREAT story line. Dirty Dozen, GREAT action film.....watch for actors young then but famous later.

Item was of very good quality and convenient to have both movies on one dvd, would recommend very highly.

I love the classic war movies and have seen this one with family as a teen.
Seen them again as a young adult. I remebered them and how good I feel they are and decided to add them to this library. having the two together on one dvd for me was a bonus.
