One of the original and most influential new jack swing artists, Keith Sweat is the missing link between the old-school funk of the '70s and '80s, modern soul divas, and retro R&B acts such as Maxwell and Macy Gray. On LIVE, Sweat gets back to his party roots, leading an enthusiastic crowd through a non-stop barrage of pelvis-grinding hits. Sweat has always been one of the undisputed kings of the sexy slow jam, and here he's truly in his element, combining Parliament-approved squiggly synths with hip-hop beats and his trademark smooth-as-silk-sheets vocals.
