) British comedies are my favorites, and Keeping Up Appearances is no exception. Hyacinth's continued efforts to pursue a social status go beyond expectations. All characters portrait excellent acting skills, and the contrasts in social strata make it all an interesting blend. Light, smart, hilarious. Excellent for a few hours of fun and distraction.

Hyacinth is Hilarious! I started watching Keeping Up Appearances a few years ago on PBS and found out my mother watched it too. I had been with her a couple of months ago and told her that I got to see it everyday on BBC America and she was so jealous! So for Mother's Day I bought her this set and we sat in front of the TV for 4 hours and laughed until we cried!
