Kart Racer (DVD, 2005)

A great movie for the whole family to watch together. This was a movie a boy and his father learning how to bond with each other again after the loss of his mother from cancer. The son had always been so proud of his father when he was racing and would tell his friends about it but after the death of his mother his father lost all interest in racing and worked all the time to avoid time with his son. His son reminded him to much of his wife. Soon the son was getting in to trouble all the time and the local cop told his father that his son needed him more. The father wanted too but was so hard to make peace with his son. Finally the cop told the son of a go cart race that was coming to town that his father used to race in when he was his age and that he should try out for it. The son told his dad about it and at first the dad didn't want to do it but finally felt this may be what they needed to get back on track again with each other. So the dad help make and train his son for the race. The son was so happy about this. Truly a great movie to watch.
