I personally haven't watched this movie but my 3 year old absolutely loves it! It's a good length movie for a younger child to watch while keeping his attention.

Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our Kart Racer - DVD movieMovie is about a widower dad and his son overcoming the trial of losing their wife/mother by way of go-kart racing. The movie is clean with no nudity or even much in sexual innuendo and very little swearing if any. My boys and I love this movie and just wish I had the talent to build my own go-kart. Sorry that is as much of the story as I am going to tell you, but it is a great family movie, especially between dads and sons.

Great movie. Lots of action.If you are in the karting scene, than this is the DVD for you! Randy Quaid does very well and the other actors and actresses do well for being so young. I see a part 2 in the future.

This movie was fun, especially for the middle school and elementary set. I believe anyone 15 and under will really enjoy it. Personally, I think this is one of Randy Quaid's best roles. This is one role where he doesn't play a bumbling bafoon (National Lampoon Vacation's cousin Eddie) or a drunk (Independence Day). This role allowed him to show that he can play a serious role and do a good job to boot! Fun action movie for kids, includes many action packed race scenes. Good story line, a family torn apart by the death of Mom, who happened to be partners in professional kart racing with Dad (Randy Quaid). While Dad has fallen into a 4 year self pity rut, his son is getting into trouble with the law in their small town. When professional kart racing returns to their hometown racetrack, Dad and son are able to work together to put the grieving behind them and work together toward a brigh future in kart racing.

A great movie for the whole family to watch together. This was a movie a boy and his father learning how to bond with each other again after the loss of his mother from cancer. The son had always been so proud of his father when he was racing and would tell his friends about it but after the death of his mother his father lost all interest in racing and worked all the time to avoid time with his son. His son reminded him to much of his wife. Soon the son was getting in to trouble all the time and the local cop told his father that his son needed him more. The father wanted too but was so hard to make peace with his son. Finally the cop told the son of a go cart race that was coming to town that his father used to race in when he was his age and that he should try out for it. The son told his dad about it and at first the dad didn't want to do it but finally felt this may be what they needed to get back on track again with each other. So the dad help make and train his son for the race. The son was so happy about this. Truly a great movie to watch.
