We have all the Karaoke Revolutions and this was is Just as Fun. Simon & Randy are there, but Paula is replaced by Laura? I think because Paula Abduls Straight Up is one of the songs, and she's probably already going to get royalties from it, is the only conclusion I could come up with. One thing they could have made better was the song selections, a lot of them are older, some even before my time, but the game was bought mostly for my 11 year old, and unfortunately she doesn't know 75% of the songs (25% I don't know either), so because of that I'm giving this a Good instead of Excellent. The Judging and Critiques are pretty funny though, and there are also video clips of singers on American Idol when you unlock them by getting Platinum and Diamonds

The kids love singing & getting reviewed. It was well worth the money for the hours of entertainment it has provided & will provide in the future. I was skeptical to buy it at first but the kids persisted & they really do enjoy this product.

Fun! Fun! Fun!We all love this game!! I am 42, my son is 14 and I have two nieces who are 18 and 21 and we have a blast!! It is kind of fun to do "not so well" so Simon can tell you are horrible you are but then we get pretty competative too. There are a nice variety of play modes as well as a ton of characters and outfits to choose from. This game also has a nice selections of songs. My only advice is....get 2 microphones so you can go "head to head". This is a great way to spend a Friday night!!

love itWe decided to get this game after my brother brought it from out of state. we liked it so much, we bought it ourselves. We love the game, even my parents have tried it now, after a long time pulling teeth to get them to attempt it. they even had a ball designing themselves int he create a character section. the only thing i wish it had, was more songs, or a way to add songs to it.

Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol
) I bought this game because I love to sing Karaoke. I give this a "Thumbs Up", because it is fun. Although, it was too easy to win the great "American Idol Trophy" (On my first try never the less),(just had to add that). Or,hmmmmm, hey, wait! Maybe its just I'm that darn good!!! Yeah Right! Well, for whatever reason, I do like the almost realistic comments given by "Simon the Jerk", so I call him. This is one "Must Have" game to have on hand for get togethers or just to sing your heart out all alone.

So much fun!! For all ages!! Even my hubby likes it!This game is so much fun. It's a lot like karaoke since it's your voice with the music. The lyrics run across the bottom of the screen. The difficulty levels range from easy to expert. It's perfect for any age. If you don't know the works completely you can even hum a long and it will be fine. My whole family loves it!

We are novices, but thought it was funWell, we gave our Playstation to our daughter and fiancee because they would use it more than us. They love doing karoake so I thought they might think it was fun. We spent Thanksgiving with them and played it for the first time. I was shy and was able to turn the sound lower so it wasn't as embarrassing for me. By the end of the day we all felt comfortable singing and had a wonderful time with it. I even sang with a louder setting before the day was over. They also had friends over for a Guitar Hero/American Idol evening and they played until late into the morning.

I enjoyed this game very much!! It is a really fun activity to play at parties. You are able to customize the vocal settings so the original vocals can drown out the bad singers or good singers don't have to use the original vocal singers.
Its a little tricky to get the hang of at first, but once you get the hang of it, It will do wonders for your voice.
