Kaplan NCLEX-RN Exam 2008-2009 by Judith A. Burckhardt (2008, Package)

I got this book after failing the first NCLEX. The test taking strategies were great. However, I would grade the questions in there on about a medium level. A friend of mine let me barrow a book that was actually made by PEARSON (the people who put on the test). I actually recognized a couple of questions on the exam that were VERY similar if not the same ones out of the PEARSON book. The Pearson book is called "a comprehensive review of the NCLEX, reviews and rationales" or something along that manner. It's a red, white, and black book. I recommend both of these books.

I bought this book with the assumption that this 2008-2009 book contained new and different information from the 2005-2006 book which I have also. I was very disappointed to see that there is no change in material. Every page has the exact information , pictures, examples and practice questions. The only difference I found was they referred "patients" in the 2005-2006 book and referred "clients" in the 2008-2009 book. Again , I have the exact same book with a different cover.

This guide for the NCLEX exam is very thorough and has helped me greatly in preparing for the exam. It analyzes and explains the answers clearly and provides various examples which help illustrate the exam's format

I really needed the Kaplan NCLEX-RN Exam book to start reviewing for my NCLEX. I didnt want to go spend a lot of money on this. The transaction was very smooth and the book was in great condition. I would definitely buy from the his ebay seller again. Thanks again for this great book

I purchased this book in order to assist me with my classes I am taking at the present time. I believe that it will help me to further understand the topics. I do know it will help me with my final nclex exam which I will be taking after my classes are finished.

I like the book and the way it describes strategies. However, if you are looking for a book in which you want review material and content material, this may not be the book for you.

Kaplan helps to focus on the important factors when answering NCLEX questions by using the nursing process of assess and implementation, Maslow's hierarchy and safety as the keys to determine the best answer. I am learning more than I expected.

I really can't give you any feedback about this book at this time because I haven't really read the book. When I do, I will definitely give you my opinion on what I like and dislike as well as what I love about it. Sorry.

I really like this book a lot. It has a lot of very useful information on how to take tests better in school. I haven't taken my boards yet, but I am on my last year of RN school, and this book has helped me take all of my RN tests better, and my grades show it. I would recommend everyone in RN school to get this book.

I really find the book helpful so far. I have not yet taken the NCLEX exam, but the content in the book has already made me feel more competent to take the exam and pass. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has to take the NCLEX exam.
