I'm paralyzed from the shoulders down. W/O it I'd be up a creek without a paddle, unable to turn my TV on/off, change channels, etc. If you're able bodied and buy one and you're too lazy to use a normal remote, try getting off you duff.
These can be temperamental as I've had a multitude of different ones. Whatever you do, do not drop them on a hard surface! You'll be on eBay looking for another one. Also the A/C adapter like ALL A/C adapters can't take a lot of stretching of the cord. I've been through about four of the A/C adapters (not so bright helpers). Otherwise they are AWESOME!
