A Grittier version to the JLA. :) FUN!

Justice League: The New Frontier is a new DC Justice League movie that was released in 2008.
This movie is a toss back version of the Justice League of America based in the 50's or 60's. As a result all of the heroes, technology, and even costumes are all retro style.
The movie has been updated to show more violence, aggression, and blood splatters. You get everything from giant monsters to shooting of a child soldier.
The movie follows the arrival of the heroes "The Martian Manhunter and The Green Lantern". You also get to find out how McCarthyism has turned against the super heroes and how they are not trusted.
The storyline is great, strong, and really interesting. However I'd think twice about showing this to a younger child. Some of the violence is a bit harsh.
I still loved it though. The retro spin and the grittier action was nice.
