Just My Size with Megan Garcia (DVD, 2005)

I'm a big girl and proud of it! I also like to exercise, but honestly some exercise programs are just ridiculous. I do not run (wasn't built for speed) or jump (sorry, too "gifted" for that!) so yoga is just the thing. I get a nice, healthy stretch with this DVD and then I'm ready for my daily walk.

With many workout programs for plus-sized people, they tend to be slower or less of a workout. Sometimes I'd feel like I didn't do much of anything with other programs. Not this one. There are some really good stretches, without turning yourself into a pretzel. After using it only a few times, I can see how I can go from a beginner and continue my stretches until I can perform more advanced positions. It's very inspirational and also lots of fun. The host, Megan Garcia is neither the obnoxious bubble-head who you normally see in these types of programs, nor is she boring. I dunno...she's just right.

All in all, a good program. Very informative. Helpful to the genuine yoga newbie, any plus-sized person, or anyone looking to get into yoga easily and gently. I highly recommend this program!
