Just Like Heaven (DVD, 2006, Full Frame)

This is a great movie. One of those feelgood movies at the end. This one you will want to add to your DVD library. I have enjoyed watching several times. I love Chick flicks since I am a a chick but this movie my husband likes too. So, I do not get ughs when I suggest it. You will laugh and cry in this romatic comedy. Rated PG 13 for some sexual content. Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo are great. I would let my children 13 and above see it and feel fine with it.

You know, I didn't really hear much about this movie. I don't even recall seeing commercials for it except when it came onto dvd. And for that reason, I didn't have high expectations. But I honestly loved this movie. A great mixture of comedy and romance! This is one of the most intriguing and unique love stories I've ever seen. I had no idea when I first started watching the movie what was going on, it really surprised me...I didn't see it coming! I don't see this too much as a chick flick, because most of it is really funny. There are some serious moments too, that are pretty sad. But all in all it was a great movie all the way around. There's not too many movies I can watch over and over again, but this is one I definitely will. A must-see dvd!

This movie is great. It funny, romantic, and surprising. Reese play Elizabeth, a doctor who is too interested in her career. Mark plays David a guy who is lonely after loosing his wife. Reese is in a car wreck and her spirit is living in her apartment. David moves into her apartment and is the only one who can see her. Thats all I want to say, because I don't want to ruen the movie. It is very good just like all Reese's movies. You won't regret this movie.

Grandchild Donielle said this was her favorite movie...so I purchased it to find out why she loves it.
The movie has a wonderful theme, it is well written and has an unusual plot. The characters give excellent performances, and it does have a good ending.
I know that I will be watching it many times over, to catch all the small details that you love to memorize in a really delightful film.

What a wonderful movie. After a summer full of dull blockbuster, shoot 'em up, aliens attacking, superhero flicks, I was sooooo ready for the fall fare, and Just Like Heaven is the perfect way to start. Reese Witherspoon is, well, heavenly and altogether lovely, but Mark Ruffalo truly impressed me. And, for the Napoleon Dynamite fans, Jon Heder makes an appearance as an occult bookstore attendent. This character is probably what Napoleon would be doing 10 years down the road. Napoleon aside (please don't see this movie just for him!), this is a very sweet, fun, and surprising romantic comedy.

Reese is Elizabeth, a dedicated doctor who scarcely makes time for herself. About fifteen minutes into the film, she's in a terrible car accident... flash forward three months later. David (Ruffalo) is looking for a furnished apartment to sublet. He just can't seem to find one with a comfortable enough couch, until that is, a piece of paper keeps flying at him in the street, advertising a fully furnished apartment. The couch is perfect, so he quickly moves in and begins his nightly drink-fest. But soon after he begins seeing the spirit of Elizabeth, who tells him that the apartment is hers. Together, they discover what truly has become of Elizabeth (I'm not telling!) and how to get things back to normal.

There are lots of surprising twists in this movie, and I had already read the book. The premise is the same, but this movie reveals a lot of missed opportunities on the author's (Marc Levy's) part. Witherspoon and Ruffalo are wonderful together, a perfect romantic comedy match. Ruffalo actually almost had me crying when he finally reveals the root of his depression to Elizabeth. What a fun movie! Just suspend any disbelief you may have and just have fun! That's what this movie is for! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Well I like everything about it.It had a little bit of everything in it.It was a down to earth film that you could watch over & over again and not get tired of it.

I just like this film & just had to have it.

Loved the DVD---just a beautiful love story---with a unique ending--made me feel really warm inside.

I really liked this movie, It did'nt take very long for the movie to really take off and your in it's gripes, It also made me laugh and then next thing I was a little sad as to how things are for these wonderful people and the things going on in there life. I'm not sure guys will like this movie but the ladies will love it.I'm glad I bought this movie.

We love this movie. It is a good clean movie that makes you think about life and what is really important in life.

I love this movie. It's a "feel good" romantic comedy. Reese Witherspoon is excellent, and Mark Ruffalo does a great job also. My favorite part of the movie is when Mark's character is trying to help Reese's character, and they are in a restaurant. No one can see Reese, and she is telling Mark what to say/do. It becomes quite humorous.

This is a love story that will make you laugh and cry at the same time. It's a movie that's worth watching several times, especially when you need a pick-me-up.

i decided to buy it because it was at a good price and i also like the people playing in the movie, and it one we all can watch.

I returned this item because it was not as described. the description stated the movie was in "full screen" and when received it was "widescreen". I would not have purchased item if the description had said "widescreen".....but it did say it was "fullscreen" so I purchased it and was very disappointed. If the seller corrects this I would purchase from him again.

I bought this movie because of the actors. It had the twist I like, with comedy & drama all mixed into one. I liked the price & wanted to see it as soon as it was on DVD. I can't think of anything I didn't like.
