Just Friends
I thought this was a chick flick and actually waited for almost a year to finally watch it. If you're one of these people, do yourself a favour and rent this immediately, I'd even go far enough to say you should buy it immediately.
This movie is friggin hilarious, the whole cast is great, the story is great, and the jokes are well delivered and side splitting.
Anybody who has ever been in the "Friend Zone" will relate to this movie.

Very funny movie! You have Ryan Reynolds (from Van Wilder, Two Guys and a Girl), Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect), Chris Klein (American Pie, Rollerball), and Anna Faris (Scary Movie series) starring in this movie. All four are funny in their own way. You have Anna Faris character who is a crazy pop star, Ryan Reynolds who is the use to be chubby kid from high school, Chris Klein use to be nerdy musican, and Amy Smart plays the girl the two guys are fighting over. All of them do a great job. There are many scenes that you laugh out loud during. Some romantic parts also.
The DVD also includes some great special features which include Nine Behind-the-scenes featurettes, "Jamie Smiles" music video, Deleted scenes, and of course a funny Blooper Reel. I would suggest to anyone to see this movie. There is just about something for everyone!

This was a very funny movie. It is definitely not appropriate for children, though. Chris (played by Ryan Reynolds)was a overweight and nerdy in high school. He had a crush on his popular best friend Jammie (played by Amy Smart) all the way through highschool. Now he is grown good looking and a successful agent. He has a beautifull pop-diva (played by Anna Faris) that is totally crazy and is in love with him. He would like nothing more than to get away from her. He is forced on a trip with her and they end up stuck in his home town. He tries to make it once again with Jammie. He finds himself in competition over Jammie with another former nerd turned cool (played by Cris Klein). This movie is really funny.

This was a good, solid comedy. While there weren’t any surprises as far as storyline goes, there were some definite funny moments throughout. It wasn’t a total gross-out movie, which seems to be very popular for comedies recently. Nor was it sexually explicit and so you won’t be embarrassed to see it with mixed company. All-in-all, just good fun.

I've seen this movie countless times before and Anna Farris plays a cooky, crazy, role! Omg, she had me cracking up! She was like a cross between Britney Spears and Courtney Love. Ryan Reynolds is of course great as always. The movie is playful and funny. If you're a fan of comedy movies, you'll love this one.

This movie is smart, funny, witty, engaging flick and it ends with a happy ending!! Great Christmas movie for adults. The humor is for adults mostly. There is a little bit of everything to this story. Fat, loner, semi-loser nerd that grows up to a successful, athletic music executive, returns home unexpectedly with a pop star psycho that he is responsible for. Great side stories and bit characters (old friends, younger brother, Rusty...) Really Really funny. Each time I watch it I catch another funny bit that I previously overlooked. It's silly silly lowbrow humor. And Amy Smart is cute as hell! Ryan Reynolds, who I typically do not like, is very funny. This is similar to A Christmas Story in my house. Each year, we watch it several times. Enjoy.

This is really Ryan Reynold's funniest movie. It's raunchy and sexually perverse. If you like this type of humor, this is right up your alley. Forget about being politically correct. This movie isn't. It also subscribes to Murphy's Law (whatever can go wrong, will go wrong). It is basically an underdog story about a fat teenage boy who grows up to be a successful, good-looking music executive. But, he never forgot the sweet girl he was in love with back home. Just watch the movie. You'll have a great time.

This movie is full of laughs! In this movie, things just can't seem to work out for Ryan. In his quest to win his one true love, Ryan has numerous mishaps that keep him away from his one and only. You feel for Ryan's character as he goes through all of this. This movie has it's serious moments, but it is jam packed with laughs. You'll just have to watch the movie to see if he wins the heart of the girl of his dreams.

When this showed up in the mail I thought it was going to be really dumb. But it was actually a pretty good movie. It actually has a story and funny characters. Ryan Reynolds stars as an ex geek once in love with his best friend from high school played by Amy Smart. After high school he becomes a big shot record exec. and returns home about 10 years later due to a microwave explosion on the company private plane caused by his ditsy rock star wanna be girl friend. He meets up again with his high school crush and all hell ensues. Don't miss the Christmas light scene, I hadn't laughed so hard since I saw the 40 Year Old Virgin. Two thumbs up.

This movie was so funny. The language was a bit much, lots of profanity. But with TVG, it was fall-off-the-chair funny. I loved the way the brothers beat up on each other. And "Samantha" was hugely funny as usual. Great movie to buy and watch over and over.

Best movie ever!This is my fiance's all time favorite movie! If you thought you've seen Anna Faris at her dumbest, wait til you see this. To this day, every time one of our friends say the words forgive or sorry, we have to bust out in "forgiveness is more than saying sorry". It has some language and a few sexual inuendos, but even with those flops it is an amazing movie and I recommend it to everyone!
