Jurassic Park (Super Nintendo, 1994)

Jurassic Park the movie blew audiences away in theaters and while still fresh and great, the SNES was blwoing minds at home. Jurassic Park while missing any kind of save feature still went down in my book as one of my favorite games. To beat the entire game you really had to take some time out of school or work, but it was fun all around. Controls were really simple and it went from 3rd person view to 1st person depending on whether you were in a building or not. I love it and anybody that disagrees are toolbags. There's nothing better than getting halfway through, turning it off to go to bed, and doing it all over again in the morning. I choose to not turn my system off for 3 days. That's just me (:

These super nintendo games are hard to find in our area. I was pleased with the good condition of the game, and look forward to buying others.

I have many fond memories of playing this game. It just seems like there are a ton of objectives. Once, I played this game for hours on end, and I got stuck on a wall in the ship which is pretty close to the end of the game. I never played it again.

Packaged well and arrived very fast. Product is used but in very good condition and has been cleaned. I am very impressed with the communication and the merchandise.

Good game one fallback is that you can't save any of your work...Therefore you have to start over each time you are interrupted or have to stop playing.

I had this game when i was little and just got it again sixteen years later to play it again. I received the game promptly and at a good price. It was in great condition and brought the memories back as soon as i turned it on. Thanks!!

very fun game not like the sega game gear one its a top down view and a few weapons to choose from also very challenging

I wanted to buy this game for my son because he loves Jurassic Park the movie. The game however is harder to beat than the fight on the movie. I got way to bored with it and have given up on trying to figure it out. My kids have done the same. This is no disrespect for the seller because he/she didn't create the game - just sold it. My bad for trying it. Oh well.

everyone can play this game at the games as they arent too complicated fo the young and are fun for the old

Onr of the forgotten games on the SNES. IT may not be as exciting as its sequel but its still an extremely fun action adventure game.

I love that I was able to find this game here.My whole family loved this game and one day it just quit.My son likes the adventure of killing dino's,finding lost cards,and making his way through the park and it's various building's.

I bought this as a replacement. This is a fun game if you like to battle something other than people and quest. Make a map and take notes it's easier that way. It is not difficult to finish the game.

Kids like the dinosaur aspect of game, a little over their heads. Just takes time to play through the game and figure it out. Overall okay.

My son loves dinosaurs and has watched the movie night at the museum, he really loved the t-rex. I just gave it to him and he has not stopped scince, exept when I made him eat dinner.

Collecting a few more games for our SNES.My husband plays them more than I do.It is something to do when there is nothing on the television.

The SNES take on Jurrasic Park is one of the better games released based on the movie, and typically features Alan Grant in a top down perspective as he explores Jurassic Park.

The most intriguing part of this particular game, however, is the 3D shooter effects when entering a building. When entering a building, the visuals switch to a primitive "DOOM" style view, which was done fairly well considering the system and the time.

The graphics and music for JP are fine, although the controls may take some getting used to. But this is a fine game to pick up for any SNES fan.

I had played this game many years ago when it came out in 1994. Of course, then I thought the graphics were good, and they were for a game of that time period.
Now, after playing it 14 years later, I still see much of what I saw then, but I still don't like the fact that you can't save the game. You just have checkpoints throughout it. They just expect you to sit down and play the entire game through, which is probably not the best idea for anyone to do. Although, you can pause the game.
I did find, as I did years ago, that the game is a fun adventure game. There are dinosaurs all over the place, and you have a few nice weapons to use on them. I definitely recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of the movie, or just someone who enjoys classic games.
It's a fairly enjoyable game, even by today's standards, and for the low price I paid (about $1 + shipping), why not?

Great game my dad loved his gift. He can play that game for hours on end. It works really good and were happy to have it back for my dad. He's wanted that game for years and years.

My son wanted this game.He had plaayed a friend's game and wanted his own. He really likes this game.
