It does everything for a tired mom of two trying to save money by not going to Starbucks every morning. It makes individual, fresh cups of coffee for husband and guests, makes my cafe mocha, will do regular or decaf in a second - it's great. Love the filtered water container and storage for grounds. When my husband first bought it I freaked out at the cost, but it's since paid for itself, two times over, with the savings from buying a specialty coffee every morning. After seeing and tasting from ours, my mom bought one, our neighbor bought one to replace their other-brand specialty coffee maker and even our grandmother bought one!
