Jura-Capresso CoffeeTEAM S 454 10-Cup Coffee Maker

I bought the coffee machine over 10 years ago and it hasn't failed me yet. It still brews the perfect pot of coffee every morning. You just can't beat fresh ground coffee beans seconds before the water hits them. I'm even using the same coffee basket, this is one of the most durable machines I have ever used.

I love the Burr grinder feature wanted to try fresh ground coffee as an option as well and glad i did. brews stronger but i like that so just need to adjust water accordingly. I like not having to buy coffee filters as well. My krupps duo maker which i had for 6 yrs. seen it last days (great coffeemaker as well) so i hope this one will stand up to it as well so far it is and i love it.

This is the second Capresso CoffeeTeam coffee maker I have owned. The first died from a shorted out LCD display ( i have learned that this is a common failure on the web ). I bought a replacement from eBay only to get it without a lid for the coffee bean container. JURA-Capresso will not honor any warranty on units purchased from eBay. So I have a unit with no lid. The money I saved by purchasing on eBay is less than the price of purchasing a lid from Capresso.

Given the poor reliability of the unit and the fact that no warranty is offered on eBay purchases I would not recommend purchasing from eNay. Go to an authorized dealer where the warranty is honored.

Given all that it makes great tasting coffee and is easy to clean. That is why I bought a replacement when my first Capresso died.
