Juno (2008, DVD)

came fast and well packaged! it was a tad beaten up but I think that is from the mail. everything else was fine!

Ellen Page is a wonderful actress!She was funny extremely likable.I rented this movie on PPV but liked it so much I bought it on E-Bay!It is one of the few movies I will watch many more times.Although my granddaughters are too young to see this (5 & 9)I will definitely pass it on to them for later years.It was great and the entire cast was wonderful.

Now here is a very coming of age story. Juno is very touching, yet very real movie with a fantastic cast. Juno also has a story that can provide a very touching life lesson. Fans of movies should check Juno out, the movie is worth every praise, it gets.

I have 15 year old triplets (two girls and one boy). The girls and I love watching this movie. Awesome!

screenwriting debut of writer Cody Diablo that makes this such a winning film. Famous for her blog and her book CANDY GIRL: A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF AN UNLIKELY STRIPPER, Diablo has a unique voice and an incredible ear for dialogue. But even the nearly perfect script wouldn't sound so good if it weren't for the talents of these actors, particularly Page. She won raves for her first major role in HARD CANDY, but this performance proves it wasn't a fluke. The rest of the cast, especially J.K. Simmons as Juno's dad, is just as worthy of attention. JUNO continues Cera's cinematic ascent after his success with the hit comedy SUPERBAD, and his ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT costar Jason Bateman uses his dry delivery to great effect as a potential parent for Juno's baby. Songs from Kimya Dawson perfectly capture the film's tone with the music's sweet, smart, and funny sounds.

This movie was funny, touching, and one of the best films of 2007. It's a must-see. Ellen Page was amazing as the role of Juno. It's style was unique and unparalleled by any comedy of its time.

It was a weird movie but i liked it main character is very good made the movie. Thought it was a little long and pointless in some parts but def worth a rent if not a buy. B-

This movie has it all. Acting, script, editing, directing, music.
Why go to movies?
To be entertained, inspired, educated, informed, amused, shocked, or in some other way take away the boredom in your life. Right?
Well, this makes the wonder of movies okay again. It is just so pure and original and makes ya feel good all over.
Watch it. You'll be glad you did.

omg i loved this movie, i cant wait to get it, junos character is full of sarcasm and all she did was make me laugh i watched it over and over

I thought this movie was really cute and it made me laugh. It's not hilarious, but there were some really funny parts. The storyline was interesting and kept me interested. This movie is pretty short, only 1.5 hours. I recommend watching it, but maybe not buying it right off the bat.

This is a short review of the R1 (USA) Special Edition "Juno" DVD release.
The movie starring Ellen Page is excellent, I'm sure we all agree... and well worth seeing several times.

The Special Edition includes an extra dvd-disc that has a copy of the film in a format that can be transfered to your pc (for Windows Media Player 10 or higher) or portable media player like iPod or iPhone.

However the disc and its coding allow for only one tranfer to pc and one transfer to portable player. The transfer requires a 16-digit code that comes with the package. All this is managed by FoxDigitalCopy and they have some sort of customer support in case of malfunctions.

The limited amount of digital transfers is not very helpful if you have several devices you want to watch the movie on at different occasions.
The coding, according to the package has a time limit; "Serial number...may not be valid after April 14, 2009"

This type of extra disc will probaly have a very short future because there is not much extra value due to the limitations.
