The Junk Yard (2001, Hardcover)

I decided to buy this book because I have ties to someone associated with it. I was told I'd cry my eyes out...what I found interesting is that I didn't. Not one bit...what I did do was feel completely suffocated, as if a 1000 pound weight was on my chest the entire read. I could feel the pain, sadness, confusion, anger...from all these men.

Read this book if you'd like true insight into smack addiction. It's written so matter of fact that you can't help but to feel the pain of their complacency and yet feel that some of them want to tear their souls from their bodies and become someone different, someone better.
