These books are written from the prespective of a 6 yr old. The humor is perfect for your K and 1st graders. I suspect established readers would enjoy them also. The one negative comment I can post is that the grammer is incorrect (i.e. I don't got none'isms). My daughter is always eager to sit together as we read these books as part of our homework assignments!
