Judge Judy - Justice Served (DVD, 2007)

Judge Judy has risen to a whole new level of excellence! This DVD features nine of Judge Judy’s most outrageous cases. Judge Judy delivers an impeccable performance, as she berates litigants for their ever-so-foolish behavior.

These cases are indeed outrageous. There was a lady who was suing another lady for damages to her car. Seems simple, right? It was quite the contrary. You see, the Plaintiff’s son had taken the car out without her permission, and had taken the Defendant’s daughter along for the joy ride. Due to the Plaintiff’s son's poor judgment and pure negligence, the car spun out of control, and the other Defendant’s daughter was killed at the scene. The Plaintiff’s son walked away unscathed. The Plaintiff had the nerve to sue the mother of the girl who tragically perished in a car accident- an accident that was caused by HER son... and SHE wanted compensation for the damages to her car.

Needless to say, the plaintiff’s claim was dismissed, and the defendant was awarded $5,000 for her daughter’s wrongful death. This case just infuriated me! I’m sure it will have the same effect on you when you watch it.

This DVD also includes coverage of when Judge Judy was inducted into the Hall of Fame, as well as stylish promotional messages. It even includes two interviews! The one conducted in 1993 arguably gave Judge Judy the exposure she needed to become America’s top rated judge (at least in my book). They both, needless to say, are a joy to watch.

This item is a MUST HAVE for any Judge Judy fan! I just wish that Judge Judy would release more DVDs like this! I know that I would be one of the first ones to buy it!

I love Judge Judy. She tells it just like it is. I wish it had a few more cases on it. You can trust the fact that if it has Judge Judy on it, you will get your moneys worth.

Watched one time, excellent condition. The 9 cases are classics.

"Walk of Fame",Judge Judy receiving her Star, in Hollywood, on the Walk of fame, with Merv Griffen.

"1993 , 60 Minutes interview.", This interview was before she became Judge Judy, while she was a, New York family court judge.

"2003 , 60 minutes interview.", This interview, 10 years later, WOW!, Look at Judge Judy now!

Excellent video, but then again, I am biased, as I am a Judge Judy fan! The bonus material is a scream!

I got this for my sister for a Christmas present. She let me borrow it to watch myself - loved it!!! So did my sister.

My wife and I love to watch Judge Judy, so when this came out on DVD we knew we had to buy it. Of course Being it is Judge Judy, you either love her or hate her, but the cases they took for the DVD were some of her best with the litigents not so much at their best, and some were down right not all that smart either. If you are a Judge Judy fan, this should be in your DVD collection!!!

What can I say.....Judy, you crack me up................She will keep you laughing.....I love her NY tone and those funny sayings.......

I decided to purchase this video because I like Judge Judy and the fact that the video has extra bonus features including her interviews with 60 minutes and the behind the scenes stuff and outtakes.

Judge Judy is my favorite show in TV. She makes me laugh even by telling it like it is, she's tough and not phony. I will watch this over and over. Great Tape.

I purchased Judge Judy "Justice Served" for my wife. She requested it for a Christmas gift. It is a typical court room preformance by Judge Judy. It contains all of normal remarks and manors. She delivers justice with all the wit and charm of a lion tammer! If you like to watch Judge Judy you will like this DVD! It's PERFECT to give as a gift too!

Judge Judy is by far the best television judge in TV land. It's no wonder she is the highest paid female on television after Oprah. She has wit, a sharp tongue, and sensible judgements. I am lucky to have found this on eBay as it is not in stores nor in rental shops.

Since Judge Judy has always been an enjoyable past time, I thought her DVD would be a nice collectors item. There are nine cases on the DVD plus some bonus items such as two interviews from 1993 and 2005(?). The first case wasn't as funny, but each successive case was funnier and more outrageous than the last one. Judge Judys' unusual one-liner's and facial expressions were great!

If you are a fan of her's, you don't want to miss out on this!

We love Judge Judy, and while we did enjoy the DVD, I was sorry that there wasn't more to it! The nine cases went by so quickly! I think the producers could have made better choices when they sifted through the various shows/seasons. I would have loved to have seen her "on fire" a bit more, tearing a few strips off the people who deserve it. I would have liked to have seen much more commentary by Judy on each of the cases that were included in this DVD - there was only a sentence or two. Judy - we love you and want to see more! Don't ever change, or hang up your robes!!

Kinda disapointed bout this DVD I was expecting to see some episodes that I had never seen before. And the "Bonus" stuff was just some interviews that Judge Judy gave on 20/20 a few years ago.

We love Judge Judy and this is a compilation of some of her best court cases. Great entertainment...always fun to watch her in action!

I love Judge Judy and I picked this up cheap. Had I won it for a lot, I would have been not happy. It was OK, but I felt she had better cases. This was supposed to be a collection of her best moments. I thought the one's chosen were ho hum at best.

Judge Judy is one of the best T.V. shows. She tells you how it is with no holds barred. I've been trying to purchase this DVD all around waupaca wi. and just could'nt find it. so i went to eBay and lo and behold there it was. this DVD will tell you all about the great Judge Judy from her start to present day. there was nothing i did'nt like in this DVD, and if you are a Judge Judy fan you will want to own this DVD, thanks to eBay i now own this DVD

I was skeptical as to whether they could come up with some of the best cases for this DVD, but they really did! My favorite is the drunk guy caught on tape! :-) I highly recommend getting this DVD if you love watching Judge Judy. She is such a character and really makes even the most serious situations seem comical! I love watching people get caught lying to her! She is so great!

This is a great dvd if you like watching Judge Judy. Good cases and even a "Judy-sims" section where you can watch all of her favorite sayings combined. Only downside is I wish there were more cases on the dvd!

Short DVD. Only a handful of cases.
Bonus material makes up for the lack of actual cases.
Was worth the money I paid.

The extras were very good and funny. Iterviews with 60 Minutes showed her skills and background. Walk of fame was very interesting as to who came, talked of husband and children. Very very interesesting woman.

Great compilation if you are a fan. BONUS material a plus. The only thing I would have liked to see would be some "outtakes" or episodes that may not have made the TV show.
