Yes seriously... top twenty stuff!

Maybe because I love Stallone action movies... but this movie really ain't that bad!

I never have gotten into the comics...but this movie really is a good solid 'comic book' super-hero movie!

Worth watching at least once... rental movie.

Been enjoying old Stallone movies lately forgot how much I enjoyed them.All I have bought and watched have been good but this one was cheesy.I guess one out of all I have bought and watched is not to bad !

Good Sci-fi movie, lots of action, good story line. Not sure it follows the comic book in all the details, but its a keeper. Pretty much anything with Silvester Stallone in it is good, plus the other actors in this movie are well known and do a really good job of portraying their characters. Don

I've been a fan of the Judge Dredd comics since the early 80's and I've been a fan of the movies since it came out, just was never ble to buy it until recently.

i thought this was a pretty good movie. the story line could have been better but the special effects were pretty good. very funny putting stallone with rob
schnieder. if you are a judge dredd fan this is a must see. i picked it up because of the abc warrior robot that was in the movie as well as my nephew enjoyed the movie as well.

I first saw this movie when it came out on video, and still to this day I like it. The plot isn't much different from any other action movie; basically the good guy gets framed and has to prove his innocence.
But as far as action goes it's nearly non stop and exciting to watch. I love the huge robot, and the cyborg from the cannibal family (awesome makeup job!!!).

it's not anywhere near as bad as some other action comic book films like the Halle Berry Catwoman movie, or Electra. It's not exactly the most cutting edge movie, but entertaining none the less. i watch movies for entertainment more than the plots (which are basically all the same anyway).

i love futuristic sci-fi action flicks so this one is decent in my opinion. Stallone plays the no-nonsense Dredd quite well, and even talks like he has a bit of brains compared to how he talks in the Rocky films. Rob Schnieder plays his annoying whinny sidekick, but he's not quite as annoying as Chris Tucker in the Fifth Element, who is the worst movie character ever!!
Ammand Assante plays the psycho villan role quite well, as well as the woman paying Judge Hershey does a good job with her role; who seems to be a bit of love interest for Dredd.
i like Max von sydnow as the chief justice and Dredd's father figure, always good to see him in a movie.

I've never read the comic book so I can't compare the movie to that, but compared to other comic book movies, this one isn't that bad. It may not be as popular as Superman or the many Marvel movies, but it's still a decent one to watch for a bit of variety. not every comic book character has to have super powers, so this is a good alternative. The story isn't bad either as Dredd learns the truth of his past, which alot of people can relate to.

If you like the movie, buy the DVD. If not, then no amount of explaination or review will ever do. My only complaint would be the lack of deleted scenes or any behind the scenes footage that most movies have now.

This movie is all about justice and action. Judge Dredd is a modern day law-giver that runs afoul of the system. His struggle for justice against incomparable odds make the premise of the movie intriguing.

I like this movie, it is fast paced, well thought out, and has a plot that is easy to follow and in the end good triumphs over evil. My kind of movie!

i purchased this for my brother and he loves the movie, one he is a fan of stallone and he likes action movies.

Being a huge 2000AD fan, I was stoked to hear about the movie being in production. However when it opened, it was abit of a letdown due to the poor storyline and misuse of characters within the movie.
However the sets and the suits were awesome and that was probably the saving grace of the entire movie. I purchased this DVD so as to help my research and development in scrathcbuilding the Judges costume.
For the price I paid, it's worth watching a second time, even a third time round, if not for the story, at least for the visuals.

This movie has a lot of special effects we have all seen before. It is big and colorful. Lots of violence and explosions. (A guy flick) Some of the acting is less than "OSCAR WINNING" but overall I would say it is fun to watch as long as you are not too critical. Classic Stallone.

I think it was good. If you like Stallone I recomend it. Its pure fantasy, and have nothing to do with reality. I would call it Sci-fi.

I looked for this DVD for years. I am glad this seller had this product at a reasonable price. The only thing I had to complain about was slow shipping.

Yes, we all know that "First Blood" is Stallone's best. This movie, however, is so much fun ! It has action, comedy, violence, twists, giant killer robots on steroids, and cyborg cannibals. It's the perfect Sunday morning movie to watch to enjoy a day off with and get a laugh, and a thrill !!
