Jps Hebrew-English Tanakh Bible (2003, Paperback, Bilingual)

I bought this Tanakh to replace one that was lost. To me this is an essential book in my daily life. Glad to have found it and as a bargain!

In my own personal studies, this Bible has already been a priceless addition! Everything I could have expected. Very nicely put together & simply beautiful.

I am a Messianic ,although I haven't always been a Messianic ,but I do believe that our divine G-D led me to this walk in life. In my search for understanding of the old Testament the Torah ,the Tanakh I found e bay to be very hepful wwhen searching for different Items pertaining to my faith such as ,a prayer shawl , a Rams horn shofar ,and now this JPS Tanakh. This tanakh is a blessing to me because of it's Hebrew -English translation,for instanc the Book of EXODUS chapter is titled TERUMAH = offering ,and as I read along I find other fascinating facts about G-D's holy word.

How can I review the Old Testament??
Classic stories, famous authors, written in Aramaic and now Hebrew between 4000bce and 400bce. The first 5 books written before 400bce. Others a bit newer. This edition probably edited around 100ce. Lots of poetry, lots of history. As is usual, this, the oldest version, is the best. This English translation may not be literal, but it is understandable. I recommend it.
