The world needs more books with "Joy" in the title..

I loved this book! It's the one that started it all for author Ernie J Zelinski, it became an international best seller for him. His other work is well worth checking out also like;"The lazy persons guide to success" (The book that initially hooked me in), "Real success without a real job" and "Retire happy, wild & free" which all, in my view, deserve attention. This book really stands out in a market flooded with material claiming to offer the secret to a better existence, not because it offers you a light at the end of the tunnel but rather if you "get" the books philosophy, the light is now! The premise is "You can't be genuinely prosperous unless you have personal freedom". This is counter to a lot of "achievement" orientated material out there that focuses on money and goal setting to the chant "time is money!". If you, like me, think time is more valuable than money then this is the book for you. "The Joy of not working" finds a nice balance between the "spiritual" and "practical" without asking us to sacrifice either.Zelinski sets a strong argument to how leisure is key in not only discovering heart-felt work but an essential ingredient to its ongoing success. The pace of the book is wonderfully embellished by inspiring quotes, and in fact the authors heroes are a guide to his philosophy. I highly recommend this along with his other work, in addition to "Crossing the Unknown Sea" By David Whyte. ENJOY!
